The Nugsax® Experience
Nugsax Reusable Ice Cubes offer a superior alternative to traditional bagged ice when packing a, keeping your food and drinks refreshingly cold for up to 24+ hours without the mess of melting ice water in your cooler. We developed Nugsax to be incredibly easy to use: simply freeze them overnight, pop them into your cooler before heading out, and enjoy ice-cold beverages all day long.
These are reference points, not requirements. How much NUGSAX you use depends on what is already in your cooler and how much of the remaining space you want to fill.
Traditional ice comparisons are approximate and refer to occupied cooler volume, not cooling-performance equivalency. Cooler recommendations are general reference points and depend on how your cooler is packed.
NUGSAX cubes are BPA free and made from food-safe LDPE (low-density polyethylene) and filled with filtered water. They are completely safe for everyday use.

I'm very pleased with how long these nug sacks last, they definitely were a little expensive, but totally worth it! I definitely will be purchasing again in the future!
These are the coolest thing ever! So glad we came across this brand. We especially love how our drinks are not dripping water when we pull them out of the cooler. Definitely recommend NugSax!
The product is good, used it once in a backpack cooler, love that it ia easy clean up. The customer service is GREAT! There was an issue with my order. I reached out and they quickly responded and rectified the situation.
I absolutely love these! The concept is awesome and they actually work! They keep coolers cold without any watery mess, and I have used some individual nuggets to keep dishes cold when I need to transport food to a friend or family's house for get togethers. It was quite genius to have such a nice, well-made zippered bag to keep them in and be able to take out just what you need to use at a time and be able to return them to the bag later.
I have given several as gifts and all the recipients have been very pleased to get them! I will be purchasing more! Thank you for such a smart product!!

Thank you Ashley! We love the feedback.
Loved the product very much! Wished it would keep the beverages a little colder. The best way to do it is to pre-cool your cooler and pre-cool the beverages. Then Nugsax will work all day.
Store owner replied:
Thank you for the honest feedback Eddie! Much appreciated.
I ordered NugSax and honestly did not expect to be this impressed. They work better than any ice pack I have ever used. Drinks stayed cold all day without the usual soggy mess from melting ice. They are simple to fill, easy to clean, and fit perfectly in my cooler. The packaging was great and shipping was fast. You can tell the company really cares about quality. I have already told my friends about NugSax and will never go back to regular ice again.

Thanks RH - Great to hear. We designed NUGSAX to be a premium experience and love that you are having that.
Great experience with NugSax. Solid quality, exactly as advertised, and clearly well made. Ordering was quick and easy, which I really appreciated. Delivery was on time. Would definitely recommend and will be buying again.
Great product. Makes trips to the lake or beach with packed coolers so much easier especially for a whole day of use. Also works great cleaning them off and throwing some in a whiskey glass for a cold pour! Love it.
Love them! Used the, for the first time last weekend and they were great. Kept the keep cold and didn’t have to drain and dry out the bag when I got home. The 2 pack was perfect for a small cooler bag/lunch box. The material of the cubes feels high quality compared to other products.
The two sax I reviewed were on point, just as advertised. They kept my drinks cold. Definitely would recommend to someone looking for a better option than traditional frozen water on a bag.
I filled my cooler with half already cold and half room temperature beverages. In 2.5 hours the room temperature beverages were cold enough to drink. I left them in my Artic cooler for 20 hours and everything was still cold. The cubes had thawed and weren't very cold anymore though. I did have one of them break. It was a party and I'm not sure what happened to it. Overall I'm pretty happy with the product.
Store owner replied:
Thanks for the detailed review! We're glad NUGSAX kept your drinks cold for 20 hours! We're sorry to hear about the broken cube, though. We appreciate you giving us a try and sharing your experience!
If you use a decent cooler and add some water in the bottom, they stay cold a little longer
Love the concept behind these! I have already used them to keep drinks cold during a party and in my cooler on a camping trip without the messy melting water getting things soggy. Super happy!

We love to hear it! Thanks for the review.
Great product. Really well made. Stays cold all day long, even in a soft cooler on hot turf fields in Southern California. Really impressive. All of our friends have been asking where to get them!
What a great idea. We bought three and are going to give two as housewarming gifts. Each bag is loaded with 100 nugs, so keeping one meets our needs. Worked perfectly keeping our refreshments cold. No melted water mess. Price is very reasonable as an ice replacement.
So I had been seeing ads for these reusable ice cubes for a while from a different company and decided to do some research on them and ended up going with NUGSAX. other than the name being kinda hilarious, I got a really good deal on 4 bags for my freezer and they tend to last a really long time. I like that NUGSAX come in these really nice looking zippered mesh bags that have a kind of tactical look to them. Most of all I went with NUGSAX because they are an American company and it's nice to support them when you can. I actually used some in my drink the other day and they work great. l have a big road trip planned for Thanksgiving and plan to fill my cooler with these bad boys. 👍
Store owner replied:
We're sorry to hear NUGSAX didn't meet your expectations! Our reusable ice cubes are designed to keep your drinks and cooler contents cold without the mess of melted ice water. Just like traditional ice, cooling performance can vary depending on the type of cooler, outside temperatures, how frequently it's opened, and other conditions. For best results, we recommend freezing the cubes completely before each use. We appreciate you giving NUGSAX a try and taking the time to share your feedback!
Store owner replied:
That's exactly what we love to hear! Convenience and easy cleanup are what NUGSAX is all about. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and for your support!
The other day I posted a 1 star review because it took forever to get my order. That issue wasn’t the company’s fault. They shipped on time but the shipping company was the one that took forever to deliver the package. I received my order today. I had contacted the customer service the other day and they said they would help me with the issue. Customer service was great to work with. I’m looking forward to not having to buy ice anymore. NUGSAX resolved the issue. I recommend getting these reusable ice pods. It will save money on having to buy regular ice. I would gladly buy again
Haven’t used them yet but they’re frozen and ready to go. Only thing I have to say about my order is that the bags came in the dark camo and I ordered the black bags. Looking forward to using this weekend at the lake.
I love how it keeps everything cold. It’s doing an outstanding job but having it just after two days the bag already has a hole in the bottom of it. It’s a shame because they work great.
*Update*. Customer Service was great! Sent a new bag no questions asked! Thank you!
