What Is Reusable Ice?
Reusable ice gives you the cooling power of frozen water without buying a new bag of ice every trip. NUGSAX® uses individual filtered water cubes that freeze, cool, thaw and go right back into your freezer to use again.

Reusable Ice That Works Like Ice
NUGSAX® reusable ice cubes are filled with purified water and sealed inside durable cube shells. Freeze them at home, place them in your cooler and they absorb heat as the water inside gradually thaws.
Unlike traditional ice, the melted water stays contained inside each cube. When the trip is over, bring the cubes home and freeze them again.

What is reusable ice?
Reusable ice is a cooling product designed to be frozen and used repeatedly. NUGSAX® uses individual water-filled cubes that cool your cooler as the frozen water inside them gradually thaws.
What is inside NUGSAX® reusable ice cubes?
NUGSAX® reusable ice cubes are filled with filtered water rather than chemical cooling gel.
Does reusable ice melt?
The frozen water inside each cube gradually thaws as it absorbs heat. The water stays contained inside the cube instead of becoming loose melt water inside your cooler.
Can I use NUGSAX® cubes outside the bag?
Yes. Keep the cubes together inside the mesh bag or distribute the individual cubes throughout your cooler.
How long does reusable ice stay cold?
Cooling time varies based on your cooler, outside temperature, amount of reusable ice, starting temperature of the contents and how often the cooler is opened.
Can I use reusable ice with regular ice?
Yes. NUGSAX® can be used by itself or combined with traditional ice depending on the cooler, conditions and trip.
Is reusable ice good for coolers?
